I'm reading Power and Love by Adam Kahane. The basic premise is that both love and power need to be equally respected in order to enable any significant social change. The analogy Kahane uses throughout the book is one of walking; being in dynamic balance. Establishing the equilibrium of love & power means balancing empathetic compassion with the political realities defining our social context.
