Play it Safe, Keep it Simple

Dan Gilbert in 'Stumbling on Happiness' refers to our minds as broken guessing machines. He claims that we have 'low resolution' imagination and memory systems, in contrast to reality which is always complex, messy and surprisingly detailed. This insight goes for our perception of projects as well. (I got SO nailed last week)
So play it safe; keep it stupid simple, and you might just come in on time and on budget :)
