Celebrating Spontaneous Creativity
As I wrote my last post, my son sat in a chair behind me playing little tunes on his Uke. The arrangements were formed from the letters in our names in morse code, from a morse code instructional book he was examining. The micro songs were quite good, but the coolest part was the spontaneous synthesis of two communication forms to create a piece of art that was both original and compelling.
This is where breakthroughs happen; someone playing when nobody's looking.
